Pho Kyar Forest Resort

Pho Kyar resort lies amid 20 acrea of thick jungle inside the Sein Ye forest reserve. Located in Yedashe Township. The area used to be a dwelling place for tigers before poachers drove them out just over 100 years ago. Pho Kyar resort was officially opened in 2004 and can enjoy ecotourism activities such as elephant riding in forest and worker’s village, feeding elephants, watching logging demonstration. From Yangon to Thargara by car is 204 miles. From Thargara to Pho Kyar Resort the drive by car is 10 miles all seasons. From Taungoo to Thargara Pho Kyar Forest Resort by car is 26 miles.

Myaing Hay Wun Elephant Camp

Myaing Hay Wun Elephant is about 3 hours from Yangon, situated in Taikkyi Township of Yangon Division. It’s established in 1986. Yangon to Taikkyi Township around 90 minutes driving ( 48 miles ) Yangon – Pyay Highway road. Procced to Myaing Hay Wun Elephant Forest Camp via Phalon village. Its about ( 27 miles 4 furlong ).

Kalaw Elephant Camp

About one and half hour drive from Kalaw. That is the new camp. You can enjoy elephant riding, feeding them and camp offer picnic lunch for visitors.
