After breakfast walk up to Htut Ni (Danu Village) appr: 1 hour. On the way you can see the huge ficus trees which are also the lankmark of pindaya regions, enormous bamboo forest, tea plantations and can also see the nice view of pindaya pagodas and lake. On arrival village, visit some village house and see how the make tealeaf, cheroot leaves, tea plantations. Then trek to See Kya Inn (Danu village) about 1 hour. Lunch at village house. After lunch you have enough time to visit the village. Then proceed to Yasakyi (appr 1 hr walk). Upon arrival have snack and green tea at the monastery. Dinner and overnight at Yasakyi monastry.
Breakfast and we shall trek to Htut Khaung "Pa O village" situates at 1370 meters above sea, 2.5 kilometers in distance with approximately 30 minute. We then continue our trek to Kone Hla village, situates at 1412 meters above sea, 10 kilometers in distance with approximately 3 hour trek. We shall have our lunch here and proceed our trek to Pauk Tu "Pa O village" situates at 1326 meters, 7 kilometers in distance with approximately 2 hour trek.. We then proceed to our today destination Hti Thein village, situates at 1379 meters, 2.5 kilometers in distance with approximately 30 minute trek. We shall have dinner and overnight at local monastery. We provide mattress, blanket and pillows etc
After breakfast we shall trek down to Kyauk Su, located at 1424 meters, 3 kilometers in distance with approximately 30 minute trek. From here we shall have a perfect view of Nyaung Shwe plain and Inle Lake. We continue trek to Ngue "Taung Thu tribe" situated at 1228 meters, 5 kilometers in distance with approximately 1 hour and 30 minute trek. We shall have a lunch break at this village and continue trek to Than Daung "Inn Tha village" located at 915 meters, 7 kilometers in distance with approximately 2 hour trek on mainly down trek with beautiful scenery. Another 30 minute work along the village and farm land here we are at jetty from where we shall cruise down to our desire hotels in Inle Lake to conclude this unique experience.
Early morning start your 3 days trekking trip. The road and trail goes through beautiful scenery. On the way visit the villages of Palaung, Danu, Pao and Taung Yoe. Your local station tour guide Ko Paul will introduce you to the villagers and will show you the traditional ways of life. Lunch in Hinkhagone a Palaung village. The path goes up and down. Native along the way do the plantation for Tea leaves, Coffee, Cordial leaves, Mustard, Ginger, Malt Rice, Cabbage, Cauliflower, Sesame. Late afternoon you will arrive to Shabin a typical Danu village with 12th Century old wooden monastery. Dinner and overnight in the village.
After your breakfast at the monastery continue your trekking trip. It is about 7 hours trekking. The people in this area grow fruits; Arvogado, Banana, Oranges, Jack fruits, Papaya. You will have the chance to see the crab apple trees along the way together with some shady Banyan trees. Lunch at Pawke a Pao village. After lunch you have to walk for another 3½ hours to Teetain a typical Pao village. Native along this way do the plantation especially for Ginger. Dinner and overnight in the village.
After breakfast continue the 5 hours trekking trip to the shore of the Inle lake. The trail goes through beautiful scenery of Bamboo forest. The natives of Pao, Taung Yoe and Intha along the way grow fruits; Banana, Papaya, Potato and Beans. Lunch at lower Thandaung village. In the afternoon transfer by boat to your hotel.
After breakfast start hiking tour into the Pin Tauk area. Lush mixed monsoon forest with a view to the plain rice fields looking like a huge, green patchwork blanket shimmering in the water of the flooded paddy fields. Your local guide will introduce you to the villagers of Aka and An tribes. Some are baptized, some tribes still animists. Ann people, known to be the kindest tribe, as there is no case up to nowadays where an Ann member has ever been violent. It will take about 6 hours to visit the villages, including visits of the houses. Late afternoon come back to Kyaing Tong and overnight.
After breakfast, drive to Ho Kyin mountain to visit four Akah tribe villages (appr. 1½ hr drive). There are so many different groups of people living in the area around Kyaing Tong. Akha, Akhu, Lisu, Lahu, Shan, Wa and Eng are the larger groups and more easily to visit. Akha people still wearing traditional costumes with silver coils. If an Akhar woman wants to have her complete costume, it will take about more than one hour. Then walk to near by 3 villages of Akha tribes to see their daily life in those rural areas. Akha people are Buddhist, Christian, and also Animists. In the afternoon, come back to Kyaing Tong and overnight.
After breakfast drive to Loimwe (appr. 2 hours drive), an old colonial town with different colorful tribes. The main attraction along the way is the scenery on the ascent to Loimwe, which passes through forests, terraced rice fields and a lake. On the way to Loimwe, lunch on the way, you will have several stops to visit different villages. Wan Lun Shan village, walk and explore the native village life; the Ho Lup Akha village where you can see the traditional Akha tribes with their colorful dresses; the Naung Cho Wa tribe, in former times headhunters - nowadays living from pears and other fruits and Pan Wai Lahu tribe villages on the left and right side of the road. Late afternoon come back to Kyaing Tong for overnight.
